COMICINVASIONBERLIN startete beim monatlichen Comicstammtisch in der Renate Comicbibliothek als eine Idee von Wandrille Leroy, nämlich ein kleines neues Berliner Comicfestival zu starten. Marc Seestaedt fand die Idee super und organisierte mit W.Leroy das erste CIB innerhalb von wenigen Wochen. Die Berliner Szene nahm die Idee begeistert auf und so ist das Team mittlerweile eine große Gruppe von Comicschaffenden, die sich für CIB engagieren. Wir sind immer offen für neue Leute, die Ideen und Mithilfe anbieten, schreibt uns eine Nachricht.

COMICINVASIONBERLIN began at Renate Comicbibliothek's monthly comic artists meetup as Wandrille Leroy's idea - namely, to start a new small comics festival for Berlin. Marc Seestaedt quite liked the idea too and helped W.Leroy organise the first version of CIB within a few weeks. The Berlin comics scene embraced the concept, which is why we are now a much larger group of comic creators and fans working together to make CIB happen.
