CIB wird veranstaltet von Renate Comics e.V. und organisiert von einer Gruppe von Berliner Comic Künster_Innen und Enthusiast_Innen. Gestartet wurde das Festival 2011 von Wandrille Leroy und Marc Seestaedt, zuletzt waren ca. 10 Leute im Kernteam und 100-200 Leute im CIB Helfer- und Teilnehmer-Pool. Die Teamstrukturen wandeln sich von Jahr zu Jahr, wir sind immer offen und erfreut, wenn neue Interessierte dazu stoßen. Meldet euch gern mit einer Mail !

CIB is organized by Renate Comics e.V. and organized by a group of Berlin based comic artists and enthusiasts. The festival was originally started 2011 by Wandrille Leroy and Marc Seestaedt, who met at the monthly comic roundtable at Renate. the core team in the last years was about 10 people strong, supported by a CIB helper and participant pool of 100-200 people. Marc Seestaedt
CIB Mit-Initiator und Projektleiter, freischaffender Künstler + Musiker. Sein autobiografisches Foto-Comic-Projekt LIFESTRIPs wurde 2008-2012 im Berliner Fenster Fahrgastfernsehen gesendet und in 3 Büchern veröffentlicht. Co-initiator of CIB, freelance artist + musician. His autobiographical photo comic project LIFESTRIPs was broadcast 2008 - 2012 in the Berliner Fenster subway screen programme and published in 3 books.
